Marjorie L. Cason, 84, of West College Corner, died Thursday, June 19, 2014, at the Liberty Nursing Center of Oxford.
Marjorie was born in College Corner, Ohio, on February 12, 1930 to Perry and Ethel Joliff Sayers. She graduated from College Corner Union Schools. Marjorie enjoyed riding motorcycles with her son. She also loved her family and her dog Mattie.
Marjorie is survived by a son Ron Cason and his wife Gina of West College Corner; six daughters: Becky Maggard and her husband Randy of Hamilton, Barbara Moneyhun, Cindy Slade, Debbie Day, Jeanie Cason, and Mary Jane Cason all of West College Corner; a daughter–in–law, Sandra Cason of Oxford; a sister, Eunice Maddock of College Corner; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Mattie.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Wilber Jr. Cason, three sons: James Perry Cason, David Cason, and Michael Cason.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 23, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Baker Chapel, at 4 County Line Street, College Corner, Ohio, with Pastor Roy VanWinkle officiating. Interment will follow in College Corner Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. Monday until the time of service where memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
