Michael A. Weber

Michael A. Weber, 71, of Connersville, died Tuesday evening, November 14, 2017, at Premier Healthcare of Connersville. Mike was born in Brookville on August 24, 1946 to Andrew and Norma Heeb Weber. He attended St. Michaels Elementary School and Brookville High School. He was a member of St. Gabriel Church and was a 4-H leader for many years. Mike enjoyed farming and was an accomplished carpenter. He could often be found in the garage working on a woodworking project or repairing something mechanical. For over 30 years, Mike was employed at the Fayette County Highway Department as the grader operator. Mike is survived by his wife, the former Lynn D. Harger whom he married April 8, 2011; two sons and their wives: Jeffrey D. Weber and Wanda D. of Anderson, Art Weber and Kimberly E. of Connersville; four granddaughters: Savannah and Alexa Weber, Dakota and Cheyenne Harger; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Sloneker Weber, who died May 8, 2001; and his siblings: Janet Dillback and Ronald Weber. Private funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of the family at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel. Interment will follow in Dale Cemetery.
