Misty Ann Richardson

Misty Ann Richardson, 41, of Brownsville, died early Monday morning, October 15, 2012, at her residence A Richmond native, Misty was born June 30, 1971 to Billy Van and Virginia Lucille Hampton Berry. She attended Union County schools and the River of Life Worship Center, Liberty. On December 30, 1988, she was married in Liberty to Joe D. Richardson, Sr. Misty was a collector of movies and American Indian items. She enjoyed her time with her family, her granddaughter and her dogs, especially, Booger. Misty is survived by her husband; her children: Jessica L. Ketcham and her husband, Jason of Connersville; Joe D. “JD” Richardson, Jr. of Brownsville; her granddaughter: Katelyn Lucille Ketcham; her maternal grandmother: Elizabeth Kehrer of Brownsville; four siblings and their spouses: Garry Van Berry and Kelly of Richmond; Chuck Berry of West College Corner; Teresa Harvey of Liberty; John Berry and Marilyn of Alquina; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Misty was preceded in death by her sister: Brenda G. Thomas. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty, with Rev. Ed Sanders of the River of Life Worship Center, Liberty, officiating. Interment will follow in Elkhorn Cemetery on Esteb Road in southern Wayne County. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
