Norma Jean Davidson, 75, of Connersville, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Norma Jean was born in Kokomo, December 13, 1942 to Earl and Anna Pearl Brown St. Clair. She raised her family in Connersville where she had been employed at Ford Electronics and Refrigeration. In 1979, she married Dave F. Davidson who died later that year. Norma Jean was known as ‘Mom’ and ‘Granny’ to many. Her love of cooking and entertaining led to preparing Thanksgiving dinner for many years for her family and those who were alone. Norma Jean had also worked as a private caregiver and had conducted several weddings as an ordained minister. Norma Jean is survived by her children and their spouses: Rita Euers (Steve Cardinal) of North Vernon, Peggy Wells Williams Goodlander of Connersville, Betty Carroll (Bob) of Westport, James Keith Wells (Anita) of Metamora, Regina Lowery (Russell) of Cayce, South Carolina, David Earl Wells (Michelle) of Burksville, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and her precious dog: Sadie Mae. In addition to her parents and husband, Norma was preceded in death by her brother: James Edward St. Clair. Private funeral services will be conducted at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville at the convenience of the family. Interment will follow in Dale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette County Cancer Society, P.O. Box 480, Connersville or through the funeral home.
