Patricia Ann Flowers, 75, of Liberty, died Friday, December 5, 2014, at her son’s residence.
Patricia was born in Batesville, on Tuesday, December 5, 1939, to Lloyd and Scrobia Carroll McDaniel. She graduated from Sunman High School in the class of 1957 and married John R. Flowers. Patricia was employed in medical records at Reid Memorial Hospital and retired from there after many years of service. She enjoyed painting, sewing, and crocheting.
Patricia is survived by three sons: Wendel Flowers and wife Deana of Liberty, Anthony N. Flowers and wife Barbara of Liberty, and Loren A. Flowers and wife Amber of Liberty; two brothers: Robert McDaniel and wife Sylvia of Peppertown, and George McDaniel and wife Betty of Brookville; one sister: Mary Deaton and husband Bill of Brookville; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, John, who died on September 8, 1998; a grandson: Craig W. Flowers who died on November 11, 2014; two brothers: Kenneth and Joseph McDaniel; four sisters: Geraldine Kelly, Thelma Greenway, and infant twin sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Fosdick Chapel, in Liberty. Interment will follow in Sims Cemetery in Franklin County.
