Paul F. Giles, 71, of Connersville died on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Heritage House of Connersville. Paul was born July 28, 1941 in Connersville, PA, to Albert F. and Minnie B. Trump Giles. He married Nola Lucus on October 3, 1997 in Connersville. He had worked at Al Renzy Bowling Alley in Connersville, PA and later worked at Heritage House Nursing Home in Connersville, IN. Paul loved all sports, pitching horse shoes, bowling, playing pool, and listening to his oldies music. Paul is survived by a son: Paul F. Giles Jr.; a daughter: Mickey Giles; step children and their spouses: Robert Smith and Cheryl of Kissimmee, FL; Terri Johnson and Bill; Micki Walters and John; Vicki Paxton and companion Kenny, Paula Bulmer and Tom; Jeff Case and Mary, all of Connersville; a sister and her spouse: Dorothy M. Hall and David; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife Nola; five sisters: Gladis McCormick; Hazel Chaney; Mable Sanner; Mary Means; and Minnie B. Bryner; five brothers: Albert F. Giles Jr.; William E. Giles; Samuel Giles; Joseph Giles, and James E. Giles. Public graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Columbia Cemetery with Reverend Richie Ware officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
