Polly was born at home in Everton on August 6, 1931 to Howard and Eva Marie Mullins Glisson and spent most of her young child hood in Milton, where she attended area schools. On October 9, 1953, at Central Christian Church in Connersville, Polly married Theodore L. “Ted” Stoehr who died October 6, 2012. They once traveled to the Canadian border for supper then journeyed home. Polly was an exceptional crafter and was known for her sewing, crocheting and jewelry making. She and her husband also created beautiful Tiffany style stain glass lamps and hand woven baskets. Polly was a member of several different quilting clubs and proudly received ‘Grand Champion’ for her quilting talents. Polly and her children greatly enjoyed raising, riding and showing their six horses. In her leisure time, she loved to line dance and was always delighted to be “wherever the fish were.”

Stoehr of Glenwood; her six grandchildren: Shane, Rachel, Dustin, Angie, Stephen Jr. and Kaitlynn; thirteen great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; one step great-great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
