Phyllis J. Earlywine

Mrs. Phyllis J. (Hanson) Earlywine, 92, of Connersville died peacefully at her home in Connersville, on September 22, 2021. Phyllis was born to James Mathew and Leila Mae (Byrd) Hanson on May 20, 1929. She was a proud homemaker and a dedicated wife and mother. Phyllis loved children, especially her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She was a member of the Ray's Crossing Union Church in Ray's Crossing, Indiana. She will be missed by everyone who knows and loves her. Phyllis is survived by her children; Diana (husband Stan) Housman, William L. Earlywine, Wanda Earlywine Crabtree, Steve (wife Mary) Earlywine, David (wife Wanda) Earlywine, Martin Earlywine, Ronald (wife Tammy) Earlywine, James Earlywine, Tammy Earlywine (husband Marty) Harsh, and Elizabeth Earlywine; Many grandchildren and great grandchildren and Abby, her loyal canine companion. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband William Clay Earlywine, whom she married on Aug. 25, 1946 and her siblings, Helen, James “Jr” and Gerald “Jerry”. James Earlywine will conduct a funeral service at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel in Connersville on Monday September 27, 2021 at Noon. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Valley Grove Cemetery.
