Ramona "Mona" Lynn Harrison

Ramona L. “Mona” Harrison, 50, former Connersville and currently of Beech Grove, died Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. She had been ill for several years and had recently overcome her battle with cancer. A Connersville native, Mona was born February 7, 1961 to William “Shelby” and Lola Isaacs Harrison and attended Connersville High School. Her most enjoyment was spending time with her granddaughter and her family. Mona also enjoyed collecting Precious Moments figures. Mona is survived by two daughters: Crystal N. Templeton, April D. Flores and her husband, Juan, all of Indianapolis; a granddaughter: Ryan Lynn Rowlett; two brothers and their spouses: William J. and Gloria J. Harrison of Richmond; “Bo” and Julie Harrison of Connersville; two sisters: Bobbie Harrison of Beech Grove and Fay King of Connersville; nieces and nephews: Damien, Rick, Dena, Shane, Jason, Matthew, Natalie, Misty, Shelby and Derrick. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dwight Harrison. Memorial services will be from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Park Road Christian Center with prayers by Pastor Lester Rose.
