Rose Ellen Moser

Rose Ellen Moser, 93, of Connersville, died Friday afternoon, November 14, 2014, at Lincoln Centers West. Rose was born in St. Louis, Missouri, May 21, 1921, to Walter and Martha Cromer Young. On September 20, 1947, she was married in Corydon to Kenneth C. Moser, who died April 21, 2010. Rose was a devoted wife and mother. She was a former member of the local veterans auxiliary organizations. Rose is survived by her son: Larry W. Moser of Liberty; two grandchildren and their spouses: Nancy Mehesy and Paul of Elizabethtown, PA; Rick Moser and Candy of Burgettstown, PA; five great-grandchildren: Eric and Taylor Moser, Elizabeth, Sara and Nathan Mehesy; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband of over 62 years, Rose was preceded in death by her daughter: Janice Darlene Moser; her son: Edgar W. Moser; her sister: Edith Keup; and a great-grandson: Derrick Moser. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, with Pastor John Reynolds of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Dale Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 12 noon Tuesday until the time of service.
