Sean Frasher, 48, of Anderson, died Thursday, October 26, 2023, at his residence following a lifelong battle with diabetes and extenuating heart issues.
Michael “Sean” Frasher was born on July 16, 1975, in Connersville to Raland and Jean Frasher. He graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1993.
Sean was a dedicated learner and pursued his education for several years to become a lifeguard, PADI certified scuba diver, EMT, Advanced EMT, and then a Paramedic. He also achieved the distinguished title of Flight Paramedic for Methodist Hospital, which he and his family were incredibly proud of. Sean continued his passion for caring for others, graduating from Ivy Tech in 2011 with a Registered Nurse degree.
Apart from his passion for healthcare, Sean was an enthusiastic collector of all things cool. He enjoyed attending gun and knife shows and never hesitated to bargain for the best deals. Sean was also a car and motorcycle enthusiast who took great care of his vehicles and was always up to detail the cars of friends and family. Sean was an animal lover, which led him to adopt his three cats, whom he adored and spoiled.
He also loved music and attended many concerts and musical festivals. He enjoyed listening to his favorite hard & alternative rock music while tinkering in his garage or just cruising down the road onto his next adventure. Above all, he loved spending time with his pets, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In addition to his mother, Jean Frasher (Ash), Sean is survived by his sister, Leslie A. Duffin (Frasher); brother, Ryan R. Frasher and his wife, Lori W. Frasher (Wronowicz); nieces: Langley Duffin and Maren Frasher; nephews: Grady Duffin and Brody Frasher; special friends: Genova Foster, Brian Saffell, and Dr. Michael Arnett; and lastly his fur babies: Grace, Mazie and Ozzie.
