Shera J. Floyd

Shera J. Floyd, 76, of Connersville, died Thursday, August 22, 2013, at her residence. A Connersville native, Shera was born December 9, 1936 to Fred and Addie Callahan Parvis and was a graduate of Connersville High School. On December 21, 1958, she was married in Connersville to Nathaniel Floyd who died December 24, 2012. Shera liked to work puzzles and listen to her police scanner. Shera is survived by her children and their spouses: Danny Floyd and Melissa, Tammy Rambo and Jim, all of Connersville; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Shera was preceded in death by her granddaughter: Amy Rambo; brothers and sisters. Private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family following cremation. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
