Sue C. McKinley, 75, of Milton, died Friday, July 26, 2013, at the Fayette Regional Health System in Connersville.
Sue was born January 7, 1938, to Albert and Bertha Lenora Hendrickson Cowin in Shelbyville. She graduated from Alquina high school. Sue served in the US Army for four years working as a secretary in the Pentagon. She retired from working in housekeeping at Fayette Memorial Hospital. Later in her life she earned an Associate Degree in Office Technology from Ivy Tech. Sue loved to read, do puzzles, and enjoyed being with her family.
Sue is survived by three sons and their spouses: James Brewer and Angela of Defiance, OH; Matthew Brewer of Milton; and Daniel Brewer and Angela of Pershing; one daughter and her spouse: Jennifer Cain and Bill of Clairton, PA; two brothers and their spouses: Robert Cowin and Arlene of Florida; William Cowin of Pershing; and four sisters: Roberta Rummel of Cambridge City; Freda Flannery of Pershing; and Tiny Howe of New Castle; Martha Ortiz of Florida; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Gene Cowin and Renos Cowin; and two sisters: Mary Francis Cowin and Letha.
