Susie Ingold

Susan Fay Ingold, 56 of Connersville, died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at her residence. Susie was born in Connersville, May 2, 1961 to Owen and Barbara Ellen Rowe Gabbard and attended area schools including Connersville High School. The majority of her adult life, she resided in Florida; moving home six years ago to be near her family. For thirty years, Susie was Store Manager at the convenience store franchise, 7-Eleven. In her leisure time, she loved to catch a tan and enjoy the relaxing beach atmosphere. Susie also enjoyed playing cards, especially poker. Susie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Teri Sue Ebert and Charles of Coral Springs, Florida; her son and daughter-in-law: Jason Ailes and Barbara of Connersville; her grandchildren: Chloe, Aubrey, Alex, Shelby and Lilly; her mother: Barbara E. Smith of Connersville; her sisters and brothers-in-law: Jenny Padley and Neil; Mandy Back and Dustin, all of Connersville; her former spouses: Michael John Ingold of Tarpon Springs, Florida and Terry Ailes of Connersville; several nieces, nephews and cousins including Rick Stevens, with whom she resided. Susie is preceded in death by her father: Owen Gabbard; her infant son: Michael John Ingold, Jr.; her aunt and uncle: Edna and Carson Stevens; her step-father: Glendon Smith. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville. Interment will follow in Springersville Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service where memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice of charity.
