Thomas Tommy Marcum

Thomas G. “Tommy” Marcum, 52, of Brownsville died Sunday morning, October 29, 2017 at Hickory Creek, Connersville. Tommy was born in Tampa Florida, January 16, 1965, the only son of Gene and Virginia Hisle Marcum. He attended Union County schools and later earned his General Education Diploma. Tommy owned and operated his own business, M & M Maintenance, serving the Whitewater area. He was previously employed as maintenance for CNF Properties, Bloomington. Tommy loved being active outdoors; camping, horseback riding and of course, riding four wheelers. He also greatly enjoyed fishing, the biting kind where his favorite to catch. Tommy is survived by his mother, Virginia Marcum of Brownsville; his children: Kathern Sue Ann Marcum of Connersville; Loni Reni Marcum of Dillsboro; Thomas Gene Marcum II of Connersville; his sisters: Janice Loyd and her companion, Jack of Brownsville; Tammy Marcum of Greenfield; his grandchildren: Nathanial, Jason, Savannah, Thomas Gene III, Allison and Austin; his angel, Amy; several nieces and nephews. Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Gene Marcum and his maternal and paternal grandparents. A memorial service to celebrate Tommy’s life will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
