Timothy Paul Bowers

Timothy Paul Bowers, 50, died Thursday, April 20, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Tim was born December 6, 1972, to Lloyd P. Bowers and Jennifer L. Rubush Bowers in Richmond, Indiana. He was a 1991 graduate of Union County High School. He was a contractor for many years specializing in flooring and tile. Tim was a member of the Edwards United Memorial Methodist Church. He loved mushroom hunting, fishing, woodworking and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Tammy Hoskins Bowers; sons Arin (Ali) Bowers of Connersville and Cole (Sydney) Bowers of Liberty; 4 grandchildren, Leihum, Lochlann, Stella and Kaysen; sisters, Carla (Danny) Kouns of Lafayette, Indiana and Carrie Bowers of Liberty; nieces, nephews, and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his father. A Visitation for Timothy Paul Bowers will be on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Edwards United Memorial Methodist Church in Liberty from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00p.m. with a Memorial Service following at 6:00 p.m. Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home is serving the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Union County Cancer Association.
